Help Me Out - Write For This Site!

Okay, so there’s only so much one man can come up with, and my goal is to grow this site into something huge… but I need your help.
I know that there are a bunch of you out there, with stories of your own, photos of cars you’ve fixed up, and the urge to share all of that with the world! Hey, we all like to brag, at least a little, right?

So here’s what I’m looking for:

  • Photos of restorations, before-and-afters, or even those from car shows and other events.
  • Commentaries - Write up what you did to the car, in detail, or send along an “event summary” of a show you went to (Which car took home the best award? Which car did you see that someone else did, but in your opinion, could’ve been done better?).
  • “Back when I was 16…” type stories - When you first fell in love with American muscle cars - What was the car? How old were you? Where were you? Did you ever wind up owning one, or is it still a dream of yours?

In return, if you have a restoration or muscle car fan site of your own, I’ll be happy to give you a link in your story, as well as in my other links section. You’re welcome to submit as many stories and photos as you like, and 100% credit back to you (and/or your photographer or car owner, if you’re not the owner) will always be given. Just make sure you’ve got permission from everyone involved, especially if you’re not the car owner or photographer.

Send your submissions to chuck@bigmusclecars.com, and don’t forget the photos!

Thanks!

  1. Hello,
You have the start of something great. I, just like you have a passion for cars and basically anything vintage. I have had the pleasure of owning many cars from many eras. My favorites have always been the late 60’s to early 70’s. I grew up in detroit where these cars were made famous. Being a Big 3 family we had our share of most of them. If you want, check out a small site I had put up to showcase a few of them. I will be more than happy to share my stories and experience with buying and selling, plus some restoration tips. If you need clean rust free parts, I maybe able to help in that relm aswell. Good Luck on your site. I just love to share with others who have the same passion.
